ASMP stuff and posting

Just for the record, I will not post any comments supporting the ASMP referendum. I refuse to let anything that even smacks slightly of the evilness of that one man who has made it his mission to bring down people I respect.

I won’t even utter his name here.

Some people may say I’m not being fair. I’m not. And I don’t care if people want to hold that against me in this case. This is my blog and my position. Get over it.

Oh, and if you’d like to read a good post on the issues and the facts, go here to Joe’s blog.

I have seen good people slandered and hurt by the vicious words and implications. These are people whom I deeply respect and who are being forced to defend themselves against comments that are the equivalent of “When did you stop beating your wife?” political attacks. It’s just crap and I won’t give the supporters (even though many of them are well meaning and just terribly misled) any space here to repeat the lies.

  1. As a one time supporter of Scott’s concerns ( I was listed recently as a supporter on Scott’s emails). I was floored when I finally read the referendum.

This was neither balanced nor fair to curtailing a few very minor payments for services rendered between the board members. ( I think the hand has been soundly slapped and some oversight needed …but this!)

It took no more than two seconds to read and (time stood still) to vote NO on this catastrophic motion.

I’m appalled and also feeling sort of duped as this would no doubt gut ASMP of all talent, experience and expertise. Talk about knowing your assets! I would gladly recommend that we pay more for the valued contribution of many of these remarkable people. God knows I can’t find the time nor the inclination for so little compensation – it’s hard work folks!

Scott it seems would prefer that ASMP in it’s entirety wash out to sea, because without outstanding individuals at the helm all credibility will soon be lost. (once the rank amateurs try to fill the (unpaying) void)

It’s safe to assume we all expect fair compensation in return for our talent, experience and expertise therefore we must uphold this notion for the services and benefits we also intend to enjoy.

Vote a resounding NO and return your ballot soonest.

    Mark Finkenstaedt
