  1. Man, I HATE it when the media says things that make everyone worry. Wall Street should know better than that. Fear and worry cause all kinds of things to happen; illness, bankruptcy, foreclosure, unemployment, suicide, cancer…

    um, hello???
Instead of creating worry and letting the media have it’s frenzy why aren’t people standing up and telling them to shove it? I mean, everyone wants to bitch and moan about gas, housing slump, business failures- but no one is marching on the steps of washington shouting enough is enough. Oh No! That might get you put on a list, you’ll end up being double finger-pricked, dna sampled, and all your history brought back up to make you look like a crackpot.

I started my business this year, I can only imagine where it is going to take me. All over the world is my goal.

Thanks Leslie for your great posts and info!

  2. And now, copyright protection is uncertain:

ORPHAN WORKS legislation has been hotlined by congress, and approved by the Senate on Friday.

ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) has been working with congress to create a fairer version of the bill (Version HR 5889), but the current draft in the House today (S.2913), WILL NOT PROTECT CREATORS RIGHTS fairly. Members of APA, ASMP, Editorial Photographers, and Illustrators Partnership of America, among others, are all against version S.2913
