You are right Leslie – don’t do the “stupid thing” and tell them you saw that they made a visit. But one must still check their web stats a few times a month and act on what shows in the stats. Case in example: Earlier this month I found a domain of an agency that missed on my radar (does very specific area of work). I got my marketing coordinatorto research them, make contact & get a book to them. The afternoon of receiving my book they asked us to quote a $50,000.00 project. Just do it, Just not in a stupid way.
That’s definitely the smart way to use that data! Way to go!!
