Me likey D.S.

David Sedaris is one of my favorite writers. Sometimes I’m convinced he’s just the Southern, gay, very successful author, male version of me, but I don’t have an attractive and witty sister like him, so the analogy really doesn’t work.

Here’s a good piece by him from the New Yorker.

Okay, I suck

I’m spending much of today working on an article for Picture magazine. It’s on fairness and business. The irony is that I’m doing it while sitting at my patio table, iBook shielded by the umbrella, wearing a tanktop, cropped pants (may change to shorts), flip-flops, and sunscreen; while listening to internet radio (80s hits) and wishing the pool was heated so I could take a swim.
Yup, life ain’t fair. And I suck for getting to work this way.
