Spring 2008

Staying in SD for a bit

The ASMP Strictly Business 2 events were fantastic! Each event was very well attended (over 300 in Chicago!) and Leslie’s Sunday workshops were often SRO. Proud to have been a part of such a great series, Leslie is now happy to be spending some time back in her office.

Her current projects include working with many individual photographers, producing Creative Lube podcasts every month, keeping the Super Premium blog up to date, as well as contributing articles to the ASMP Bulletin, Picture magazine, and APA’s newsletter. However, her main goal is to get her marketing book completed in the next couple of months. She is hoping to have it available by late summer.

Presenting, traveling, and yes, still writing...

The ASMP Strictly Business 2 events are a hit (see the Vroom page)! The first one in Los Angeles had around 200 participants and the other three events are booking up well. Leslie’s Friday mini-consultations (booked through ASMP) are selling out early so sign up now if you haven’t already! If you can’t see her Friday, contact her today about booking a one-on-one Test Drive meeting the Monday after SB2. She’s also still working on her next book, plus participating in things like an example website consultation on APhotoEditor.com, producing Creative Lube, and working with clients.

Speaking and writing and prepping, oh my!

Speaking, actually, answering questions with Selina Maitreya as a part of Selina’s events in San Diego (ASMP/APA) and Los Angeles (APA), presenting her own event in Phoenix (ASMP), and writing articles for columns in Picture and the ASMP Bulletin are keeping Leslie busy. But she has more in store. Look for a chance to win a scholarship to one of the ASMP Strictly Business 2 events--the Super Premium Blog will have an announcement soon.

Summer 2007

Writing, writing, writing...recording?

Returned from her successful Beyond PMS speaking tour (see Vroom page for some reactions), Leslie is hard at it, working on her part of the upcoming ASMP Strictly Business 2 events (to be presented in 2008), writing articles for Picture magazine, Manuals for her list and the Manuals page of this site, as well as keeping up with her blog and her usual client-related duties. She is also working on her upcoming marketing book, though she has yet to decide on an appropriate title. There is also some research being done on creating podcasts of some of her past events. Keep checking back for updates on all these projects.

Presentations Galore!

Leslie is headed out to to present Beyond PMS to ASMP and APA chapters across the US this Spring. Also, starting in 2008, Leslie will be an important part of the ASMP’s Strictly Business 2 series of events. These will be mullti-day events to give photographers fantastic information from experts in all aspects of running a successful photo business. Stay tuned for more information and look for details on ASMP’s site.
